COL-CEMCA and Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) are organising a Three-Day Regional Workshop-cum-Capacity Building Programme on “Strengthening Graduate Employability and Career Readiness in Higher Education” from 4th to 6th June, 2026 at the City Campus of the University, Khanapara, Guwahati, Assam. The workshop is being organised with the objective of strengthening institutional capacity in graduate employability frameworks, promoting skill-based and career-oriented education, and enhancing the competencies of educators and academic administrators in aligning higher education with contemporary industry and societal needs.The programme will include thematic sessions on employability-oriented curriculum design, NEP 2020 and skill-based learning, industry linkages, work-based learning, entrepreneurship, assessment of employability skills, and preparation of institutional action plans. Around 40 participants from Higher Education Institutions across the North-Eastern Region are expected to participate in the programme.
