Registration now open for online course on Academic Counselling for ODL Learners

A new online course by CEMCA on Academic Counselling for ODL Learners is now open for registration and begins on November 02, 2020. The course trains participants about the ODL system and Academic Counselling – an important component of distance learning system.

Teachers, ODL practitioners, and teacher educators will find this course useful as it guides participants in conducting academic counselling sessions, understanding Self Learning Material, technologies which can be used in distance education and assessment in distance education.

During the COVID-19 crisis, each one of us have exploited the technology to facilitate learning. Online Course and distance learning both have made their place more prominent in the education system during this time. This online course for training academic counselors serves the society as whole. This course will require 3 - 4 hours’ time commitment each week for a period of 4 weeks.

This course can help and support the teachers in polishing their skills for becoming an academic counsellor.
