Pilot Online Professional Development Programme on OER-based eLearning, April 1 to July 7, 2014

New Delhi, 31/03/2014: CEMCA is pleased to announce the Online Professional Development Programme on OER-based eLearning (Brochure) from April 1 to July 7, 2014 in a pilot mode for select institutional participants. The programme has been developed collaboratively with the support of many individuals, and through a series of capacity building workshops with the staff of the Wawasan Open University, and therefore, is designed keeping in mind the needs of teachers interested in offering courses and programmes using Open Educational Resources. Forty teachers from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka have registered for this five module programme, which would require about 90 hours of time for completion during the period of the study. Participants are expected to commit themselves to study in asynchronous mode online and participate actively in the online experiences to earn Open Badge for each of the modules. On completion of all the modules the participants will also receive another generic Open Badge for the programme.
