An online workshop on Use of Google Applications in Teaching-Learning at Vardhmaan Open University, Rajasthan

CEMCA under its initiatives in Higher Education organised an online workshop on Use of Google Applications in Teaching-Learning in collaboration with Vardhman Mahaveer Open University for the faculty members of VMOU on April 29, 2020. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Ashish Kumar Awadhiya from Centre for Open Education, IGNOU. Prof Madhu Parhar, Director-CEMCA gave the welcome address and brief introduction of the programme. She talked about the need of online learning and 4 quadrant approach issued by MHRD. Prof. (Dr.) R.L. Godara, VC-VMOU in his presidential address put forwarded thanks to CEMCA and mentioned about three types of meetings and how this workshop covered areas of two types of meeting i.e. objective and result oriented meetings. Dr. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi and Dr. Akhilesh Kumar coordinated this workshop from CEMCA and VMOU respectively. Prof PK Sharma convened this meeting from VMOU. The workshop covered the working of Google Drive, Google Docs, YouTube and Google Groups along with the brief hands-on on these tools.
