Implementation of Open Educational Resources (OER) for better learning in Brunei Daruasalam

CEMCA organised a virtual session on February 8, 2021 on Understanding OER for the 18 teachers of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei. Prof. Madhu Parhar from CEMCA and Dr. Nik AA Tuah from UBD shared the experience on OER and blended learning practice in the institutions. Dr. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi from CEMCA coordinated and initiated the programme.

The two hour session included concept of OER along with use of creative common licenses for designing and developing OER. Participants welcomed the opportunity to learn how to access, use, and integrate OER in teaching and learning. Dr. Nik AA Tuah reflected on online and blended learning at UBD and demonstrated the LMS. CEMCA plans to conduct the hands on training activities on Implementation of OER at UBD to enhance teachers capacity.
