Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) conducted 5-days online Capacity Building Program


Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) in association with Delhi Skill & Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) conducted 5-days online Capacity Building Program on "Effective Online Teaching, Assessment and Communication Skill" for 77 diploma faculties from DSEU from 02nd June to 6th June 2021. Training was conducted in morning and afternoon batches with 40 and 37 participants respectively. Inauguration function was attended by Dr Neharika Vohra (Vice Chancellor, DSEU), Mr. Ashwini Kansal (Registrar DSEU), Dr Madhu Parhar (Director, CEMCA), Mr. Dalip Tetri (Financial Advisor, CEMCA) and Mr. Saurabh Mishra (Programme Officer, CEMCA).

 

Inaugurating the programme Prof. (Dr) Neharika Vohra lauded effort of CEMCA for designing a course on effective online teaching which is need of the hour. She further said that New Education Policy focuses on Online Learning and Quality Education. Hence this program is very important for DSEU faculties.

Prof (Dr) Madhu Parhar in her welcome speech gave overview of CEMCA and explained how CEMCA is assisting Asian commonwealth governments and institutions to expand the scale, efficiency and quality of learning by using multiple media in open, distance and technology-enhanced learning for over 2 decades. Mr. Saurabh Mishra will be facilitating and coordinating this programme.

Experienced and seasoned corporate master trainers and consultants engaged various sessions on online course designing & pedagogy, online evaluation & assessment tools, online communication, time management skills, G-Suite and Workspace.
