DAVP Empanelment Facilitation Workshop for Operational Community Radio Stations, New Delhi, July 30, 2013

New Delhi: 18/07/2013: With a view to provide a catalytic push to the sustainability of community radio operations, CEMCA Community Radio Facilitation Centre (CCFC), supported by Ford Foundation, has been guiding and facilitating a number of CR Stations to apply to the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP)  for empanelment to receive  advertising support from government agencies over the past two years .  Continuing this  pro-active approach, CCFC has invited around 30 CRS drawn mostly from the NGO sector,  who fulfil the DAVP eligibility criteria for a one day workshop at Delhi on July 30, 2013. The objective of the workshop is to provide on-the-spot facilitation services to enable them to get empanelled with DAVP and also provide an opportunity for participants to interact with senior officials from DAVP and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) during the process.
