Community Radio Video Challenge 2015

New Delhi, 10/03/2015: The Commonwealth Educational media centre for Asia (CEMCA) in association with UNESCO, New Delhi and Apeejay Institute of Mass communication, New Delhi is pleased to announce the CEMCA-UNESCO Community Radio Video Challenge (CRVC) for the students of Indian media schools.  The objective of the activity is to engage the Indian youth in Community Radio (CR) and promote understanding and importance of CR as an alternative media for community’s self-expression, learning and development.  Theme of the 3 minutes video challenge is “Community Radio: Citizens’ Voices, Empowering Societies.”

The CRVC is open to students pursuing media studies in Indian education institutions during the period of the contest. An eminent jury consisting of distinguished artists, professionals in media, and CR practitioners will review the submissions. Last date of submission of entries online is 30 April, 2015, while receipt of the supported documentation at CEMCA is 10 May 2015. The best videos will receive awards in a function organised by CEMCA, UNESCO and AIMC in June 2015. For detail, visit http://crvc.cemca.org.in
