CEMCA organised a Capacity Building Programme for Course Writers of Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala on Design of Self Learning Material on 30th April 2021. Dr. Manas R. Panigrahi, Senior Programme Officer, CEMCA and Dr. Anita Gill, Dean Academics, JGNDPSOU coordinated the programme. Prof Madhu Parhar, Director CEMCA was the facilitator of the training workshop. 75 academics across the state of Punjab (as Content writer) participated in the training programme. The training programme covered various sessions like concept of ODL, Teaching Learning in ODL, Programme/Course/Unit Outcomes, Unit Structure, Concept Map, Introduction, How to Write Learning Outcomes, Content Presentation, Assessment, How to Write Activities, Summary, Unit End Questions, References. The participants showed their satisfaction and requested for the advance and intensive training in this regard. The JGNDPSOU also requested CEMCA for further support in various aspects on ODL to make sustainable for better learning provider in the state.
