CEMCA-MGCU Implementing Blended Learning in Universities of Bihar


CEMCA is supporting MGCU, Bihar for implementation of Blended Learning in Higher Education in India by enhancing capacity of higher education teachers of the State. MGCU organised its second five-day training programme from 22-26 November, 2021. The inauguration was graced by Prof. Asheesh Srivastava, Head and Dean, SoE, MGCU; Prof. Gyandeo Mani Tripathi, Dean, School of Education, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna; Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Education, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur; Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Associate Professor, SoE, MGCU along with MGCU staff. Total 298 participants (189 Male and 109 Female) from State Universities of Bihar were participated in this training programme.

The five-day training programme covered ICT tools for teaching and learning; Interactive Presentation tools and gamification tools in ICT; web tools like Edupuzzle, H5P and vizia.co. etc. supporting Blended Learning, SWAYAM, SWAYAMPRABHA, e-PG Pathshala, NDL; Open Educational Resources (OER). Participants were provided the hands-on support through an asynchronous tool.

The fifth day technical session was followed by the valedictory programme of the Five Days Capacity Building Programme for Teachers and Research Scholars on Implementation of Blended Learning in Higher Education, Bihar. Dr. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Senior Programme Officer, CEMCA congratulated the organising team to take the project and being so enthusiastic and doing justice with the intent of the project in the light of National Education Policy 2020 India. Prof. Madhu Parhar, Director, CEMCA mentioned about the GER and importance of National Education Policy 2020 in relation to Blended learning in India. Further it by followed by the remarks by Prof. G. Gopal Reddy, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor, MGCU, Bihar, placed gratitude to CEMCA for supporting through the project.
