5 days Online Capacity Building Program on “Effective Online Teaching, Assessment and Communication Skill” (31st May to 04th June 2021)


Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA) in association with Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU Jaipur) organized 6th and 7th batches of 5 days online workshops on “Effective Online Teaching, Assessment and Communication Skill” for 78 faculties from 31st May to 04th June 2021.

Inauguration and valedictory function were attended by Mr. Saurabh Mishra (Programme Officer, CEMCA) and Dr Rajdeep Deb (Principal, School of Entrepreneurship Skills, BSDU Jaipur).

Inaugurating the programme Mr. Saurabh Mishra gave overview of CEMCA and explained how CEMCA is assisting Asian commonwealth governments and institutions to expand the scale, efficiency and quality of learning by using multiple media in open, distance and technology-enhanced learning for over 2 decades. He further explained design and course outline of the workshop and how it will help faculties in improving their online teaching skills.

Dr. Rajdeep Deb also gave overview of BSDU, Jaipur and further explained the mode of selection of participants for the workshop and various evaluation parameters which will be used during this capacity building program.

In batch 6(Morning session), 41 participants attended the workshop In Batch 7(Afternoon Session), 37 participants attended the program. Evaluation criteria for Certification were participant’s attendance, class assignments and group activities conducted by master trainers.

Experienced and seasoned corporate master trainers and consultants engaged various sessions in this program on digital mindset, online course design & pedagogy, online evaluation & assessment tools, online communication, time management skills, G-Suite and Workspace.
